We assemble the disaster buckets to be shipped off to help aid areas recovering from disasters.

Faith Formation and Mission in Action has meetings about once a month, and anyone is welcome to join us. We have two main aspects that we cover.

Faith Formation is all about forming the faith of church members and friends. We brainstorm about the ways to engage with those we know, and also perhaps those we have not yet met. Some ways we do this are:
– Purchasing books for our Wednesday evening book groups
– Hosting community meals such as Easter and Christmas breakfasts, as well as our monthly meals
– Growing a community garden right on our property and organizing volunteers to care for it
– Organizing our sausage, bacon, and apple pie assembly and sales to support our faith formation and mission ministries
– Discussing other ideas to engage and grow our community

Mission is all about serving our wider world through the commission that our Lord Jesus left us with. We discuss the different ways that we can be the church not only for ourselves but for the community at large. Some ways we do this are:
– Sponsoring Service Mission Trips
– Assembling disaster buckets and sponsoring a blanket ministry to send to those in need
– Sending our special mission offerings to various world ministries
